got my prom dress today! I was just about to send the designer an angry email about it, too.
the excitement of it had worn off, but then I saw it, & holy shit it’s just perfect & I’m so excited.
it’s so much better than I expected it to be.
& I got my paycheck today.

finished The Great Gatsby!
the ending didn’t surprise me, I kind of saw it coming.
I feel like there should’ve been more to say about it, but maybe that’s the magical part of the ending.
Overall, I loved it.
Next up is Catching Fire & then The Elegance of the Hedgehog.

ah ok, so my Oscar excitement has died down.
I’m so glad that The Artist won five out of their ten (!) nominations.
& I always walk away with a list of films that I need to see.
& with a giddiness of seeing so many pretty dresses. :)
Top five remained the same, although there are several runner ups.
anyway, blah blah blah, going to go finish The Great Gatsby now.
